Alivia & Josh Engagement Session

High school sweethearts, best friends, and the cutest couple!!!  That’s how I would describe Alivia & Josh.  As I got to spend some time with them during this session I was impressed by their happy, easy-going nature, their similar interests, and their natural love for one another.  They seem to be the poster couple for Easton Corbin’s song, “Lovin’ You Is Fun.”  And it was fun to be with them!

They took me to a spot I had never shot at before.  I am sure multiple couples will envy the awe-inspiring scenery and follow in their footsteps, but I did promise to give them credit for finding this amazing location.  😉  The overlook was breathtaking and maybe even a little intimidating when I asked them to sit on the edge and dangle their legs.  Alivia didn’t seem to mind, but it wasn’t until after the pictures had been taken there and Josh jumped up quickly, did I realize that Josh didn’t love heights.  What a good sport!!!

They were both good sports when it came to the cold weather too.  Although we did take a few breaks in the car to make sure no hands got too cold or noses got too red.  That’s what we have to do in the San Luis Valley in February, but if I ever wonder why we live here, I just have to take a look at this session.  Not only is the scenery worth sticking around for, but so are the people.  Josh & Alivia are the kind of people you want as neighbors, friends, and examples for your children.  They are going to be a great asset to any community, and neighborhood they reside in.  I feel blessed to capture their special moments at this special time in their lives!!!

Alivia & Josh, keep having fun!!  Keep making each other’s hearts smile as you have a good time together because as the song says, “It’s only just begun!”  I can’t wait to see what you accomplish together and I can’t wait to see you as bride and groom.  It’s going to be a knight in shining armor meets beautiful princess kind of moment.  I know this because you two already fit the description perfectly!!! 🙂
