Emily & Remi Engagement Session

I’m not sure why her path crossed mine
Accident or grand design
Maybe God just kinda likes
Cowboys and angels

He went to much effort to make it special.  He bought her new cowboy boots and took her horseback riding.  She wasn’t surprised to learn that he was setting up the special date to pop the big question.  “Will you marry me?”  He should not have been nervous.  She knew the answer already.  After starting their relationship in high school, extending it to college, and even a separation for a mission, there was no doubt they were going to be together forever.   I assume the cowboy boots were not necessary to produce the answer Remi was seeking, but hey, it couldn’t hurt.  They ARE super cute!  Turns out Remi has great taste in boots and girls.  😉

Emily & Remi will be married in Fort Collins in November and sealed in the Fort Collins temple.  It’s been so fun to see how these two high school sweethearts have supported each other and grown together.  I loved watching the love and concern they had for one another the whole engagement session.  They may be cowboy and angel, but somehow they fit together, they complement each other.  I do think God likes cowboys and angels!!!

Emily & Remi’s engagement session was perfect.  The cloudy sky made for an amazing sunset, and the rain stayed away just long enough.  Their outfits, (including the boots) were spot on and Emily really did look like an angel!!!  Lucero’s farmland in Antonito, Colorado was the perfect backdrop to showcase the love they share.  I couldn’t help but be in awe at the beauty of this grand San Luis Valley!!!

Thank you, Emily & Remi, for allowing me to capture your love story.  It’s so fun to work with you!  I can’t wait to meet you in Fort Collins where I can see a cowboy and angel turn into a bride and groom.  It’s going to be amazing!!!!
