Southern Colorado Based Photographer Celebrating Family
Wyatt’s mom and I have been friends for years, 19+ years to be exact. I started working with Ashley, Brenda, and Sheila, at Avant Orthodontics when my oldest was 6 months old and Wyatt was not around yet. The funny thing about this situation is that we may not know each other’s families personally, but we DO know each other’s families. Oh yes, we do talk about you!!! We have been silent supporters in sporting events, school achievements, mission calls, marriages, and grand babies births. I have cried with my coworkers (more accurately described as friends) over health problems, lost opportunities, and bad days. And we have laughed a lot , and I mean A LOT!!!! I know that life will eventually take all of us in other directions, but I picture heaven with these three ladies as my next door neighbors. We will go to lunch, or take a walk, or meet in the backyard, and share all the great things that are happening in our families and maybe reminisce about the “good old days” at Dr. Avant’s office and, of course, laugh A LOT!!!! I can’t picture heaven without them.
All this to say, that I was super excited for and honored to shoot this senior session. Wyatt is a senior at Sanford High School. He is an outdoors man and loves hunting, hiking, fishing. He is especially interested in and proficient at waterfowl hunting. So much so, that he has had frostbite three times from duck hunting. That’s dedication!! Hard work and dedication is something that Wyatt has grown up with and will be a great asset to him as he graduates and pursues a career in wildlife biology. Wyatt proved to be exactly what I knew he would be, a kind, respectful, gracious person with a quick smile and amazing attitude. You have done good, Ashley!!! You have a great family.
Usually I end my blogs with how I think families are the best, and they are. But, I can never put into words how much I love these three ladies and how much they mean to me. Today I have to say, FRIENDS ARE THE BEST!!!!
