Southern Colorado Based Photographer Celebrating Family
I am usually the one talking my clients into doing something strange or scary, but not this time. When I saw the steep trail we would have to maneuver to get to the waterfall, I have to admit, I was less than excited. My husband was half way down already, persuading us to move ahead. I had visions of me, or worse my camera, rolling down the mountain, landing beat up and broken in the small stream of water below us. I stopped to check with the bride for moral support. There was none to be had. Joslin was up for the adventure, and I am so glad she was! I love that my couples are ready for anything. I love that they are willing to go the extra mile to capture memories that will last a lifetime. I especially love how much they love each other!!!
Joslin and Chance started dating in high school. They would continue to date after Joslin graduated and then keep in touch during Chance’s mission. It didn’t take long after Chance got home, for them to decide that they had been right all along. They wanted to be together for eternity.
When I met with Joslin and Chance to talk wedding, everything was settled, except for the little matter of being engaged. When I asked how he popped the question, the reply was, “well, it hasn’t happened yet.” I assume it was a matter of not having the ring yet. As you can see in these pictures, the ring is present, and beautiful!!! I still haven’t gotten the story of how he popped the question. Maybe I will learn that at the wedding. They will be sealed in the Albuquerque Temple on November 23rd 2019.
Joslin and Chance, congratulations on your upcoming life together. You two are so fun to work with! I can’t get enough of Chance’s quick laugh and Joslin’s genuine sweetness. I can’t wait for the next adventure. See you at the temple!!!
