Erica & Jeremy | Elk Creek Campground Engagement Session

“Sometimes miracles are just good people with kind hearts.”

Erica & Jeremy are precisely that. They were my little miracle after all the picture-taking was over and my car stranded me on the top of La Manga Pass. About the time I resigned to waiting out the evening until family members sent out a search party, this sweet couple came back to check on me. They figured I had stopped to take more pictures, which I have definitely done in the past, but when I never caught up to them they decided to turn around and find me. Who does that? What kind of people find it more important to care for others than themselves? I would like to say we all would choose to turn around, but I’m not so sure. It’s not that I believe people are uncaring. Most people are just distracted. I have to admit, sometimes I am too distracted to see the needs right in front of me. I vowed that night to always “turn around”. To be more aware of others, to go out of my way for others, to rescue others in whatever that looks like, to be like Erica & Jeremy. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening with this good couple and can’t wait to capture their wedding day.

Erica, Jeremy, and Christopher were so fun to work with. They said they were nervous and felt awkward in front of a camera, but I assured them that was normal. I often tell my clients that feeling weird translates to looking great in their pictures. As you can see from the evidence below, the camera loves them! And so do I! They are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. I can’t wait to see them in wedding attire on their big day. These two deserve the best and I am going to do everything I can to make their wedding day just that!

Congratulations, Erica and Jeremy. Thank you for putting up with my craziness and for making my job easy and enjoyable. You are the best!!!
