Emily & Rob | Bountiful, Utah Temple Wedding

Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

It was at the wedding dinner that Jana, Emily’s older sister, recited this quote to explain the relationship between Emily and Rob. It’s apparent that this couple is focused on others and it just makes their love for each other shine even more brightly. I have no doubt that God put these two together to bless the lives of many. They are going to be a great team.

The weekend started with an amazing first look session at the Bountiful, Utah Temple. Rob pointed out his house right next to the temple and it seemed fitting to seal their love at the temple in Rob’s backyard! Emily was beautiful and Rob was beaming! First look sessions take the stress out of the wedding day and make for an unforgettable, no-rush, golden hour experience. It was so fun to spend an hour or two with this soon-to-be bride and groom and feel the love they had for each other.

Emily brought friends and family to her home the next evening for a formal garden party wedding dinner, catered by Cuisine Unlimited. The decor was awe-inspiring, the fare impressive, and the entertainment was magnificent. The toasts, doing what they were supposed to, brought love and praise, heartfelt wishes and even a few tears. Emily was in her element, gathering family and friends and making each of them feel important and loved.

On Friday, when Mr. & Mrs. White stepped from the grand Bountiful Temple doors into the arches filled with loved ones, the happy couple was glowing! This moment had been anticipated for “a lifetime” as they would say, and it was worth it. They will now have forever together, sealed in God’s holy house, and share much happiness along the way! Emily was again stunning in her white gown, updo and cathedral veil and Rob fit the part in his handsome blue suit.

The reception venue holds meaning for this couple also as they both love the majesty and sense of history the Utah State Capitol holds. Again the decor, food, and atmosphere was perfect and again Emily and Rob were in their element. As they greeted each guest from the long line of well-wishers, they treated each of them as the most important guest they would receive that night. It’s apparent they have a love for people and for life, which makes them so fun to be around!

Emily & Rob, thank you for being the people you are, reminding everyone around you that happiness comes by looking outward. You both deserve the best and I think you have found it. Congratulations on forever!!!
