Hamilton Family

Is it really summer?  It has been a LONG spring for me for lots of reasons!!!!  Homeschooling being number one on the list and the never-ending wind not far behind!!!!  🙁    Well finally school is out and FINALLY, the wind doesn’t blow all day every day, (just part of the day).  And finally, it feels like summer.  This awesome family photoshoot made me even more sure summer is here.  The weather was…well…like there was no weather at all.  Don’t you love it when it’s so perfect you don’t even notice the weather!!!  Spring is always a little rough around here, but summer is amazing!!!!  Even when I am old and gray and cannot handle the nine months of cold in the valley, I am definitely having a summer home here.  And I am pretty sure I want it to look like the Hamilton home!

The backyard, complete with duck pond, antique wheels, cute bridges, and skyscraping trees was a photographer’s dream come true and a perfect spot to capture these fun family photos!!!  It’s always a laugh around this bunch and I think I did more smiling than they did!!!  Partly because their smiles are so contagious, and partly because they are such a fun group!!!

I have visions someday of a time when my little family is all grown up and having families of their own.  When I am the grandma and getting sticky kisses from the grandkids and hugs from the in-laws.  You made me realize that there are good times ahead and I can’t wait!!!

Thank you, Jack and Susan, for sharing your beautiful family with us for a few hours.  You have an amazing group of people there.  I am sure you are proud of each one and excited to have a growing family.  Soon you will be the grandparents getting the sticky kisses and I am sure you will love it!!!  Because like they say, as grandparents you get to spoil them and then send them home!!!  🙂  No doubt, FAMILIES ARE THE BEST!!!!
