Southern Colorado Based Photographer Celebrating Family
It was really cold!!! I know, I know, it is December in Colorado, but it seemed especially windy and cold! But the cold outside was no match for the warmness in everyone’s hearts as they gathered to support Elena & Spencer in their union for all eternity. Family and friends came from all over the world literally, including Canada and Taiwan! I don’t blame them. These two are like a magnet. Everyone loves to be around them. They are happiness personified.
As we walked Spencer (with his broken foot), to the spot where he would await Elena for the first look, my husband mentioned that in a matter of hours, Spencer’s life was never going to have a dull moment. He was implying that everything is happy, fun and exciting for Elena. Spencer smiled knowingly and agreed. Eternity will be a whole lot of fun for these two!!! And as for the broken foot, 🙁 Spencer was amazing. Despite a small limp, no one could tell that he had just gotten off crutches, left his boot in the car, and squeezed his broken, swollen foot into a dress shoe for three days so he did not attract attention to himself. He wanted all the attention to be on his beautiful bride. She was beautiful and he was still the knight in shining armor. They are a stunning couple, but more importantly they are beautiful on the inside!
Thank you again, Elena and Spencer, for allowing me to be part of your amazing love story. I cherish everything from crying during the surprise engagement, to being there for the big day, to line dancing at your reception, haha. You are both amazing individuals, but will be even more so as a team. I am excited to watch the adventures of Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen. Keep me informed!!!
