Kara & Uriah-Hutchinson Ranch Wedding-Salida, Colorado

Love is what happens when two hearts find their happy place right beside each other.

Kara & Uriah have definitely found their happy place.  They light up when they are together and I LOVED watching this sweet couple radiate happiness and joy on their wedding day.  My favorite part though was watching how Uriahs’ cute little ones adored their dad and were so excited to add Kara to the family.  This little family has a lot of happiness and joy ahead!!!

Kara was a stunning bride, as you can see!  Even though we did not meet in person until the day of the wedding, she was instantly warm and welcoming.  I could quickly see that she was sweet and kind but also driven and organized.  (She was ready EARLY for her wedding!!!  That doesn’t happen very often 🙂 )  Kara was the opposite of a bridezilla, as she was always helping with something, checking on someone, or giving little thoughts of encouragement to others.  Her beauty on the outside matched her beauty on the inside.  Kara is an amazing person!!!

Uriah was equally warm and welcoming, recounting the connections we had by both growing up in the San Luis Valley.  It’s easy to see that Uriah is a people person.  Others are attracted to his fun personality and charm.  I have to say the vows he read to his sweet wife were the cutest I have yet heard!!!!  Kara is obviously going to laugh her way through life with Uriah’s entertaining personality.  I don’t blame Uriah for wanting to make Kara flash that beautiful smile of hers often!!!

I also have never seen three kids so in love with their Daddy!  To all those naysayers of the importance of fatherhood, I would like to ask Braelyn, Mila, and Liam how important their dad is to them.  I am sure I know their answer.  Fathers like Uriah are priceless and we could use more of them in this world!  Braelyn and Mila were the cutest little flower girls, and Liam definitely was the “best man”.

Hutchinson Ranch was absolutely beautiful with a view that was to die for!!!  I loved the cute bridge that led to a green meadow, with trees and mountains in the background.  Even though this ranch is found right outside of Salida, it felt like we were in fairytale land.  The whole day was storybook material!

Thank you, Kara & Uriah, for allowing me to be a part of your big day.  I feel blessed to know you and witness a family coming together to be a power for good in this world.  You two are amazing and have a bright future ahead.  Congratulations!!!!
