Wow!!!! I can’t believe this “kid” with the blonde hair and sly smile that I watched play in the mud and eat shaved ice at Grandma’s, is all grown up!!! I have been privileged to have a front-row seat for many events in his life. Everything from kid wrestling and high school sports, school dances and academic achievements, baptism and mission farewell, and now his wedding. What a blessing to watch this charismatic, kind-hearted, fun-loving kid turn into an even more charismatic, kind-hearted, and fun-loving adult!!! The only difference is now he has an amazing, sweet, beautiful, and fun companion by his side! And they make a great team!!!
Katelyn and Brandon were highschool sweethearts. They knew for years that they were going to be together forever. On June 6th, 2020 they proved it to the world. (Not that anyone was wondering. 🙂 It is pretty darn obvious how much they love each other.) The day was a blustery one. Wind gusts were forecast up to 50 miles per hour!!! What!! How can you have a wedding in that???? I was not the only one worried and probably not the only one praying. 😉 I am happy to say that miracles do come true. Sure, it was not perfect weather, but thanks to family, a beautiful backyard with lots of trees and an amazing bride and groom, the day really WAS beautiful!!! As was the bride, with her gorgeous curls, contagious laugh, and stunning long-trained dress that she swing-danced in!!!! Katelyn, you really are amazing!!!
Katelyn and Brandon, I will always cherish this opportunity to be a part of your love story. From proposal, to Penitente Canyon, to wedding vows, to dancing the night away, it has been my pleasure. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life. I will be cheering you on in the future!!! Oh and, have fun in Hawaii!!!! 🙂
