Elk Creek First Look & Chic Backyard Wedding

The wedding dress did not make it in time.  She looked amazing in the backup-dress that fit her perfectly!!!!  The weather did not cooperate.  The indoor wedding was elegant and beautiful!!!  The makeup artist was tending to a child with a broken bone.  Her roommate stepped in and did a beautiful job!!!!  And those are just a few of the problems that arose and were taken care of by Ciara & Taylor and their amazing family.  Yes, it all turned out beautifully, but nothing was more beautiful than these two coming together as one family.

My favorite part of the whole day was listening to the wedding vows from this charming couple.  As she talked about her unending support and love for him, my heart swelled.  As he promised to tell her how beautiful she is every day, I took pictures through tears.  My mind instantly goes to one of my favorite love songs.  An old song that I’m sure Ciara and Taylor have never heard, yet it reminds me of them. “Young love, strong love, true love/It’s a new love/They’re gonna make it through the hard times/Walk those lines/Yeah, these ties will bind/Young love”   I have no doubt that as this young couple turns old, their love will not.

Ciara & Taylor, I am so grateful for the chance to be part of your wedding day and to experience your love and kindness for each other and those around you.  You will always hold a special place in my heart.  And yes, you both should take up a career in modeling!!!
