Jackson Family

I should have known they would show up in the perfect outfits.  That is one of Jennifer’s many talents.  She has a knack for putting clothes together and looking stunning all the time!!!   Jennifer is also great at painting, interior decorating, crafts, and putting together awesome “Amazing Races”!!  Along with that she coaches volleyball, serves with the youth at her church and spends a lot of time supporting and keeping up with her husband and four children.  And somehow, with everything she does, she keeps a smile on her face and laughs often.

It is apparent that Mark and Jennifer have taught their kids to be happy and laugh often, as well as how to be kind to and respect others.  This is what I have observed from them as I have been around this family.  They moved from Las Vegas a few years ago, into the tiny town of La Jara, and we are so glad to have them here!  They are an asset to the community, school, church, and neighborhood.

Why do I rave so much about the families that I take pictures of?  Because they are all doing something very right.  No family is perfect and I get that!  As Mary Karr said, “A dysfunctional family is any family with more than one person in it.”  Haha  That feels more true than I care to admit.  But I also believe in what Lee Iacocca said, “The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works, is the family.”  That is why I acknowledge and admire those that work so hard to build strong families.  That is why I blog about people like the Jackson family.  Thank you for your good examples and the light you bring to those around you.  Oh, and thank you for being flexible when the location you chose was “occupied”.  🙂  It always seems to works out!!!
